Leggo almeno tre libri a settimana.

Magari grazie a Passionflix?

Nessuna musica. No TV. Nessuna gente in giro.

Hi Audrey! First of all, all the reader and I can't wait to meet you during the Rare in Rome next september. But, let's start with your interview.

1-Come out in this days the last novel of International Guy Series. What should we expect from our dear Parker Ellis?

Hopefully the serial will end the way you, the reader, needs it to. Of course, I promise that I always write a happy ending and that's all I'll say about that!

2- What pushed you to write a story similar to Calendar Girl, but from a different point of view?

The only thing similar in this serial is that it's primarily one persons journey and was released in twelve novellas or four full length novels. For this particular story I wanted to share my love of traveling and all the amazing places I've been to with the reader who may never get a chance to experience such beauty. The world is vast and I hope that with this series, the reader gets to experience a bit of that.

3-Have you seen all the cities that Parker visits in the book?

I have been to all of the cities except one...MILAN! lol I know it's crazy right? However when I was writing this series, I couldn't leave Italy out even if I haven't been at the time! I did a ton of research on the internet and spoke to other peoplewho've traveled to the city and shared what I could learn. I'm very much looking forward to my visit to Rome in late September this year. I'm half Italian and I'm dying to see where my heritage comes from!

4-There will be a story about other two International Guys?
Definitely! I plan to write Bo Montgomery's story next. Then Royce Sterling and last but not least, Mick and Wendy's beginning, middle, and end. Each of these books will be full length novels. Right now I'm taking a little break from the IG team though to let the muse rest and plan to go back to their stories later this year.

5-Which is the most difficult book you've wrote?

Washington, DC was the hardest to write due to the nature of the plot. Dealing with animal abuse, the beauty industry, and dirty politics all in one place was hard on my emotions. Still, I told the best, truest story possible. In the end, there are some surprises form this novella that make it a little easier to take.

6-Who's your favourite male character? And female? And the most difficult to describe?

In the IG series, I love Parker. I do. He's everything a man should be. Kind. Loyal. Loving. Sexy. Strong. A good friend. Has a good heart. And loves deeply. Wendy was probably the most fun to write. She's quirky and cool and you never know what's going to come out of her mouth! The most difficult was Bo. Mostly because he's a mans man who's in touch with his feminine side. He's able to ride a motorcycle wearing leather and motorcycle boots and then walk into a fancy designer store and pick out the perfect outfit for a woman. He loves women to distraction and that's a hard personality to describe without making him too feminine or a womanizer.

7-In addiction to being a fantastic writer, are you a reader too? Which is your favourite kind of book?

I've always said I'm a reader first! I read at least three books every week. My favorite author is Kristen Ashley. She writes romance in all genres. I'd recommend anyone reader her Dream Man Series. Start with Mystery Man! You will thank me, I promise!

8-Will we have the possibility to see one of your books on display? Maybe with Passionflix?

PassionFlix has optioned my novel Resisting Roots. It's the first book in the Lotus House Series. They hope to work on it later this year. Keep your fingers crossed!

9-Your next projects?

I'm working on a "sisters" three book series right now. I'm keeping it quiet but will have more information soon! Keep checking my website www.audreycarlan.com and my social medial pages for more info!

10-What pushed you to write your first story?

Actually, it was reading the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy. I connected so clearly with the uniqueness of the love story and was beautifully surprised at the erotic nature. That trilogy made you "feel" so many things and I read up on the author. She was a mother in the corporate world who just wanted to write her own stories and escape the day to day worries and workload. I too wanted that. So with the encouragement of my friends and family, I started writing at night and eventually self-published my first novel Angel Falling.

11-Will we have your new books in Italy?

I sure hope so! Right now you have Calendar Girl, Trinity, and the International Guy series. I hope my publisher will want to publish the new books I'm working on. Stay tuned!

12- What is your ideal place to write?

In my office at home when it's quiet. I prefer the quiet and solitude. No music. No TV. No people around. Just me, the muse, and the computer. It's what works for me!

Thank you for taking the time for this interview. Can't wait to meet you!

Thank you for interviewing me and thank you to your readers for giving my International Guy series so much love in Italy! I can't wait to come to the RARE Rome event in September! Hope to see you there.
